School House is an attractively finished 2 bedroom cottage which is part of a converted Victorian school building. It is set in an idyllic village in rural Shropshire with access to the many activities and places of interest that Shropshire has to offer including the historic town of Shrewsbury (7 miles), the village & museums of Ironbridge (12 miles) as well as numerous scenic walks in the Shropshire Hills and The Wrekin. The local pub, The bulls Head, is a 1 minute walk for dining and drinks. The house is a semi-detached cottage which has recently been refurbished and some of the lovely furnishings are in-keeping with the old school building. Downstairs has a comfortable lounge room for relaxing with Samsung Smart TV (with Freeview) and electric fire. We have an bright and airy open plan kitchen (with island unit) which is fully equipped with appliances and amenities, and a dining area which is great for sharing with friends and family over meals and drinks. The whole space is perfect for couples or friends to socialise. **Pets are charged at 20 pounds each per stay. Your pets must be well behaved, not left unsupervised, and kept off furniture, chairs, and beds. Strictly no pets upstairs please** There are 2 spacious bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a king (two singles coupled). A travel cot for infants is also available on request at 15 pounds per stay - please let reservations know if you require this - please remember to bring your own bedding. Important: We are committed to protecting our properties which is why we've partnered with Know Your Guest, the leading vacation rental guest-screening provider. Please note that before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details and ID through Know Your Guest. You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a non-refundable damage waiver. We suggest you buy the damage waiver as this protects you in case you cause accidental damage during a booking.

The Bull pub and restaurant is a 1-minute walk from the house and does great food. The Haughmond in Upton Magna is an award-winning 3 AA Rosette village pub & restaurant and also has a coffee shop & bakery. The Mytton and Mermaid at Atcham, is a lovely bar / restaurant next to the River Severn and has a great outside area. Haughmond Hill forest walk, Attingham Park National Trust for walks and children's play area, Shrewsbury Centre Quarry Park, Shropshire Hills in Church Stretton, Ironbridge (near Telford) to see the Thomas Telford bridge and Blists Hill Victorian Village nearby.
