Quiet Quaint Quirky one bed Cottage with Wood burning stove in living room and outside seating in courtyard. Small but perfectly formed....traditional tiny cottage with all facilities: well equipped kitchen, livingroom with dining area and TV (limited wifi), comfy bed, spacious shower room. Please note the stairs to the 1st floor are quite steep.
We have lived in his corner of North East Aberdeenshire for nearly 5 years and love it. We are keen to spread the word about this well kept secret. We live near the village and after we bought and refitted his quaint little cottage we thought other people would love it a much a we do. As we live nearby we are on hand if you need anything or want any information regarding places to visit.
New Pitsligo is a traditional North Aberdeenshire village. It is quiet but has shop, takeaways, pharmacy and pub (doesn't do food). Surrounded by great countryside and brilliant for dog walks it is less than 15mins from the coast. A fabulous centre for exploring cliffs and caves or sandy beaches, bird spotting, sea life including seals and dolphins and if you are very lucky orca, There is surfing at Fraserburgh, many Golf Courses, Castles and historic fishing villages. Visit Cullen the birthplace of the Scottish dish 'CullenSkink'. Travel inland to Fyvie Castle or explore Bennachie forest walks. On a wet day try Fraserburgh Lighthouse Museum or the Prison Museum in Peterhead. It's an undiscovered gem of an area if you love nature and the outdoors.
