Sandman Signature Aberdeen Hotel 4 stars

Hotel in Aberdeen City Centre, Aberdeen

Sandman Signature Aberdeen Hotel is offering accommodation in Aberdeen. Among the various facilities are a shared lounge and a bar. This hotel exceeded all our expectations! The rooms were contemporary and decorated wonderfully. The beds and pillows and rain shower were awesome. The location was great, too; just a 5 minute walk to the restaurants and bars. And, the hotel bar was the best one we experienced! We got to the hotel an hour after checkin, and had no problem finding a space in the car park. When we visit Aberdeen again, we will definitely stay here!

Hotel in Aberdeen

Located in Aberdeen, 3.7 km from Beach Ballroom, The Dutch Mill Hotel provides accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking, a bar and a terrace. Excellent staff. I inadvertently left my purse behind and didn't notice till we had arrived at our next destination. They had locked it away securely - all cash and personal items untouched. A big thank you to the Dutch Mill.

Skene House Hotels - Rosemount 4 stars

Hotel in Aberdeen City Centre, Aberdeen

Skene House is situated on Rosemount Viaduct only a few minutes’ walk away from the city centre, Union Terrace Gardens, His Majesty’s Theatre, Art Gallery and the Trinity and Bon-Accord shopping... This room was clean, with good space, and with a small kitchen. However I'd recommend a combi-oven instead of a Microwave. Great overhead stand in shower. Good front desk staff. This will be our preferred place to stay when we come to Aberdeen again.

Skene House Hotels - Holburn 4 stars

Hotel in Aberdeen

Skene House HotelSuites - Holburn is just a 2-minute walk from Union Street in Aberdeen city centre and less than a mile from Aberdeen Rail Station. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi and free parking. The place is terrific. We rented a whole apartment(bedroom, living room, kitchen, small bedroom, bathroom). Everything is sparkling clean, fully equipped kitchen, big TV in living room, comfy bed. Quiet and good soundproofing. Excellent bathroom and towels. I could go on forever about this place, it is the first property I rented in my travels though Europe that truly exceeded my expectations. You are treated as a true guest, the staff is ultra professional. The parking lot is behind the building(hard to find upon arrival but you will be guided there), we were offered a free complementary drink. 10 min walk to center. Very good value for money.

FAQs about hotels in Aberdeen

Charm, Granite, Energy and Blooms

With a gently rolling landscape, Aberdeen moves elegantly between sandy beaches, picturesque stone houses, and blooming gardens. As Scotland’s 3rd-largest city, it is home to important universities, a busy harbour, and is a hub for the oil industry in the North Sea.

Walk along the Union Street ‘Granite Mile’, and visit some of the historic places like the Town House, Castlegate, or ‘Provost Skene’s House’. Don’t miss the Art Gallery and the Maritime Museum, and do some shopping in the city’s trendy shops. Choosing hotels in Aberdeen’s city centre allows you to explore this compact city on foot.

The charming Old Town is filled with bookstores, old buildings like the King’s College, and student cafés. The city won the ‘Britain in Bloom’ prize a stunning 10 times for its well-kept gardens.

The local airport offers direct train links with the central railway and coach station. Staying in a B&B, a cottage, or a hotel near Aberdeen Airport is a way to avoid the last-minute rush, while enjoying the surrounding green hills.
