Ben, Gemma and their 3 children live just down the road from the HolidaysWales Village, so they are never far away if you have any questions or enquiries about your stay.

A real hidden gem, tucked away in an idyllic hillside, this quirky yet cosy Underground House is the perfect property for a family get away! As you make your way from your vehicle to the front of the property down the paved pathway, you will really appreciate the stunning views, a true representation of rural Wales, green fields, sheep grazing and if you listen carefully birds singing. Inside, you will be greeted by by an open plan kitchen and living space with a fully equipped kitchen for all your cooking requirements. All members can relax in this area with a high stools for dining and a sofa for lounging on whilst watching your favourite series on the smart TV. Sleeping up to six guests this property has three bedrooms, a King room with plenty of storage for your belongings as well as a spherical window overlooking the rolling fields outside. The second King room comes complete again with storage and an equally impressive view from the window as well as it's own private toilet & wash facilities. The final room is the bunk room which accommodates a single bed and an upper child size bed, perfect for the smaller members of the family! The master bathroom comes complete with large walk in overhead shower, double wash basin with illuminated mirror and flushing WC. We have already mentioned quirky and this added extra really does fall under that category.. make the most of your relaxing stay by taking a soak in the freestanding bath tub - and you won't find this in the bathroom! You can really make the most of the views and tranquil atmosphere by relaxing in a warm bath situated on the paved area outside, add a few bubbles and a glass of your favourite Prosecco for added effect!

Pistyll Rhaeadr, Llanrhaedr ym Mochnant (8 miles) Visit the highest waterfall in Wales located in the Berwyn Mountains. Lots of public footpaths to explore and a tea room to refuel in! Derwen Garden Centre, Guilsfied (8 miles) Visit the Farm Shop or stroll around the landscaped gardens, there is even a restaurant serving food daily and a gift shop! Springhill Farm Riding Stables, Oswestry (10 miles) The riding stables situated on the Wales / England border, overlooking the Ceiriog Valley giving instant access to great off road riding on tracks, fields and bridleways.​ Fantastic Funhouse, Oswestry (10 miles) A fantastic large soft play centre, situated within a beautiful grade two listed building, formerly the Cambrian Rail Works. Powis Castle, Welshpool (12 miles) A mediaeval castle, fortress and grand Country house which has beautiful gardens and walks. If you're lucky you may spot a deer or two in the grounds!
