Dedham - Set by the River Stour, Dedham is in the heart of Constable Country. The attractive high street is lined with Georgian-fronted houses, old inns and a large Art and Crafts Centre. The magnificent 15th church was built from the wealth of the medieval cloth industry. Constable's work The Ascension can be seen within St Mary's Parish Church.
Hadleigh - Hadleigh is the nearest town, surrounded by 246 listed buildings with plenty of history to explore it also has 2 supermarkets, an award-winning butcher, cafes and a superlative food market on Friday mornings
Lavenham - Nestled in the heart of the stunning Suffolk countryside, Lavenham is one of England's finest medieval wool villages. Medieval charm can be found around every corner with its winding streets, thatched cottages and some 320-listed timber framed buildings.
Long Melford - As its name implies, this wool town has a long, long High Street, populated by charming independent shops, vibrant art galleries, antique centres, cafes, restaurants, and, of course, typical Suffolk Inns.
