Rose Cottage is a traditional property located in central Stokesley. Sleeping up to six guests across three bedrooms, Rose Cottage is perfect for families and groups of friends looking for a pleasant break in the heart of North Yorkshire. You’re ideally located to explore the North Yorkshire moors, as well as having quick access to local towns and villages. Please note that due to the nature of the property, there are some steps leading into the bedrooms. Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during guest bookings. For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to 500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

This pretty town is well known for its Friday food, flower and craft markets, and farmers' markets on the first Saturday of each month. Stokesley Agricultural Show is held every year on the third Saturday in September, attracting visitors from all over the country. With everything from dog shows to handicrafts and delicious local delicacies on offer, it's well worth a visit. Stroll to the east end of the town for a spectacular view of Roseberry Topping and the North York Moors, and admire the ancient mill wheel that resides there. Then, just a few yards away, discover a panorama of buildings and open spaces as you enter the town centre. From here, you can explore Stokesley Manor House at the eastern end of Market Square, and discover the Church of St Peter and Paul, with its famous mouse woodwork carved by the "Mouseman" of Kilburn! Many quality independent shops create a friendly lively experience for those who regularly visit the town or for newcomers seeing what is on offer for the very first time. The market Place would still be familiar to Captain Cook, Yorkshire’s famous son should he be visiting today.
