The local pub is within a 10 min walk and serves excellent food throughout the year. Ottery St Mary has a Sainsbury’s along with shops providing local produce and is proud to be a plastic free town and holds the world famous ‘Tar barrels’ on November 5th. In the other direction is the historic town of Honiton with antique shops along with Lidl and Tesco’s. The renowned Pig restaurant is 10 mins away. If bringing children please be aware that there are low level windows but these are double glazed and do not open, but do have blinds and ties which may need keeping out of reach, if possible. I’m happy to provide stair gates, if you require them. The wood burning stove does not have a fire guard.

Main line train to Waterloo and Exeter is available from nearby Honiton and Whimple. Hugely popular with cyclists being on the tour of Britain route.
