Newly listed in June 23, Salty Shore is centrally-located, making it the perfect base to explore wonderful Whitstable and the surrounding areas. This 1 bedroom property with extra sofa bed in the lounge, offers you a fully equiped kitchen, work space, outside space plus off road parking for 1 car. Salty Shore is 100 yards from the beach and in walking distance to all the local attractions, including our famous working harbour and Whitstable Castle. The train station is a 10 minute walk away.
My name is Lucy and I am a mum to two beautiful boys. I've grown up in Whitstable and I’m so excited for guests to experience all it has to offer. Getting to stay in a wide variety of places whilst travelling ignited my passion for hosting. I love to make people happy and enjoy creating the little extras to make things special. Along side Salty Shore I work in the local primary school and decorate parties at weekends. I really hope you enjoy your stay. A welcome booklet will be inside to help you with any questions you might need answered. Alternatively you are are welcome to contact me via text message if you are unsure of anything.
Whitstable is a fun and vibrant seaside town full of character and charm. Salty Shore is in walking distance to all the local amenities and only 10 minutes walk from the train station. Turn left from Salty Shore and you’re 150 yards from Whitstable’s famous working harbour. Keep walking and you’ll be in quaint Harbour Street, full of independent boutiques and restaurants. Turn right from Salty Shore and you are 100 yards from Whitstable Castle and grounds. Keep walking to find Tankerton Slopes where you can visit the Street at low tide. Walk straight ahead from Salty Shore and you will be at the beach in 1 minute. Salty Shore is in walking distance of all local amenities. You have a swimmng pool and bowling alley across the road from your accommodation. Your accommodation is conveniently positioned on the bus route. You can visit historic sights in Canterbury city centre or visit the pier and arcades in the seaside town of Herne Bay. Sandy beaches in the Thanet area are reachable by car or train. There’s a choice of wildlife parks 30 minutes away by car.
