Scarborough House is a Grade 2 Listed property located in the heart of Torquay. The property has recently been restored and refurbished to a high standard throughout, benefitting from 2 bedrooms (1 king size double and 1 twin singles), a large open plan living/kitchen/dining area, a large bathroom as well as a secondary lounge with access onto a sunny rooftop terrace. Internally, the house retains original features such as cornices, exposed wooden floors and original sash windows, complete with working wooden shutters to the downstairs windows. The house has been furnished for the comfort of guests with carpets fitted to the bedrooms, stairs and landing. The “sun trap” roof terrace, accessed by stairs from the second lounge, is an unexpected bonus and perfect for taking morning coffee al fresco or enjoying the afternoon sun in seclusion. The kitchen is fully equipped and features a range cooker. The king size bedroom is located on the first floor, the twin on the ground floor with the bathroom on the half landing.
I live a few doors from the property and am available at any time to assist with advice or deal with any issues that may occur.
The property is located in the elegant Belgravia Conservation Area with easy access to Torquay Harbour with it’s restaurants, cafes and shops. The Princess Theatre is within a short walk. You will find numerous restaurants and bars on Torwood Street and around the inner harbour.
