Dovecote is our holiday home that sleeps 4 and set in the heart of Cornwall, Trevone Bay. A large Blue Flag beach, that is lifeguarded throughout the summer, is a short walk away and the fishing port of Padstow is only minutes away. Eden Project, Lands End, the Camel & Poldark Trails are all within easy reach and the coastal walks are great. We are happy for you to bring one small dog too, subject to a small additional payment before arrival. So wether its a summer holiday or a Cornish adventure, Dovecote is perfect for everyone, all year round.

We have been coming to Trevone since we were small children and we want to share this wonderful area with you. We like to let you enjoy your holiday so will rarely contact you during your stay. We can be contacted and will usually respond quickly to help if needed.

Trevone is a great place to spend your time. Dovecote is within easy walking distance of 2 beaches and a natural swimming pool. There is a great beachside shop where a great range of water-sports equipment can be hired. There is also a marvellous beachside cafe and bar serving a range of meals, snacks and drinks. The local pub is just a minute away and serves a good selection of local food and drink. The local farm shop is a short walk away and sells a great range of Cornish fare. Padstow is only a few minutes away, shops, food, drink, fudge, more food, beach, ferry to Rock (see if you can spot Gordon Ramsey's lockdown home), crazy golf, oh and did we mention the food! Pop into Wadebridge, hire a bicycle and spend the day on the Camel Trail. Visit Camel Creek Wadebridge - Mini-Theme park Springfield Fun Park - Large Indoor Play Area and Pony Rides Lappa Valley and Steam Railway - Steam train to a secret outdoor play area Visit Tintagel Castle - It's Stunning! Eden Project - A day in the biomes you will remember for ever. Like Doc Martin? - Go to Port Isaac Poldark your thing? - Try Charlestown or the Poldark Trail Like super scenery? - Drive to Lands End via the coast road from St Ives, get a pasty in St Just, visit the Minack Theatre, Porthcurno Beach and the Telegraph Museum. Then return via Newlyn and Mousehole to Penzance. Drive past St Michaels Mount, Marazion then follow the south coast road for Fish and Chips in Porthleven harbour. It's just the best. Bitten with the surfing bug? - We've got too many beaches on the north coast to list - just look on a map and go. Did we mention we have a south coast full of secluded beaches within easy reach too? - perhaps we should save that for your next visit...
