The cottage is suited for those who like a quirky character property - look out for the secret staircase. There is a warm welcoming cottage feel, enhanced by the wood burning fire in the main living room. You can tinkle on the ivories of the mini grand piano, or relax in the library area, or the peace of the secret garden, or when the weather is wet huddle in the outdoor den. A special feature is the indoor jacuzzi - careful with the bubbles.

The cottage is picturesquely located adjacent to a bubbling beck and humped back bridge, and perfect for a quiet retreat holiday. Situated approximately 4 miles is Millom where visitors can visit the beach and local coastal boating/sailing amenities. There are a number of cafes, restaurants and bars located within the town.
