Excellent location for us. Within easy walking distance of the village and a good base for driving around the Peak District. House very comfortable and we felt very ‘at home’. Parking space for one car which is always a must for us. There is a nice area with hot tub which is obviously a very popular asset although we didn’t use it. Lots of space in the house with a nice kitchen and lounge area. We enjoyed our stay.

The Cabin is a bungalow situated in the village of Hayfield, on the outskirts of the Peak District. Hosting two bedrooms, including a king-size and twin, along with a shower room, this property can sleep up to four people. There is also a kitchen and a living/dining room. To the outside is a decking with furniture and barbecue, plus a lawned garden and off-road parking for one car. The Cabin is a delightful retreat for families looking to explore this scenic part of the country. Please note : The owner would be willing to allow guests to charge their cars using the owners power, this will need to be arranged with Sykes prior to the booking. We will charge a rate of 25. Please call to discuss further.

Hayfield is a lovely High Peak village nested within a rural setting amidst the beauty of the Peak District National Park in Derbyshire. The village is a popular base with avid walkers with its easy access to Kinder Scout, as well as the Pennine Way and Snake Path being within easy reach too. There is a wealth of pubs, cafés, shops and restaurants within the village too, as well as the spa town of Buxton and Stockport being in easy reach too for an even greater selection of amenities and attractions.
