We have stayed at this hotel many times. On arrival we even had a card in our room welcoming us back! The hotel is exceptional and most of the staff are the same as when we first started visiting this hotel years ago which is an excellent sign of a well run establishment.

Staff team were amazing. They all worked together in a very positive manner and spoke highly of their employers. Night manager Jack really pulled out all the stops when my friend lost a much treasured ring, transpires it had come off in the thermal pool. We asked at reception if someone could just check the pool for us whilst we checked our room, Jack spotted the ring and then went into the pool to get it for us.Crisis averted with now over emotional friend!. Many thanks Jack and all the team at The Daffodil.

Arrangements made for COVID were quite good and we didn't feel uncomfortable at any point. The hotel is next to Grasmere and we had lovely views from our room. It's quite conveniently located for a couple of good hikes. Food at their in house restaurant was quite good too.

The Daffodil Hotel and Spa offers contemporary luxury on the shores of Grasmere water, located in the heart of The Lake District and just a short walk into Grasmere village. A full English breakfast is served each morning and free WiFi is available throughout.

Rooms at The Daffodil Hotel and Spa are stylish and spacious, each with a flat-screen TV and media panel, private bathroom with complimentary Molton Brown toiletries, luxury crisp cotton linen, ironing facilities and still bottled water.

Guests staying at The Daffodil can also indulge in the hotel’s luxury spa complete with Germaine De Capuccini therapies and products, a 30 feet thermal pool, steam room, sauna and tepidarium. Spa treatments are available by prior arrangement.

The restaurant at The Daffodil serves a traditional British menu with a modern twist. The dining room enjoys a lake view, as does the Sitting Room where afternoon tea is served. In addition the property has a beautiful terrace for enjoying the finer weather.

The hotel is located on the A591 as you enter Grasmere which allows easy access to the popular Lake District towns of Keswick 13 miles to the north and Ambleside 4 miles to the south.
