## The space Our simply stunning period two bedroom terrace house, with original victorian character and charm is the perfect base to explore York. Although, our house is over 100 years old and greatly cared for, does show its age in some places. Expect to find some loving wear, quaint aging both inside and outside! The Groves offers homely accommodation that would suit a family or group of 4. It is perfect for any family with a four-leg furry family member as it is pet friendly. The house is set up for 4 guests but can accommodate up to 6, if guests are happy to camp out on the double sofa bed. The layout of ou r home ... A private enclosed back courtyard with outdoor seating, and a safe area for children and pets. A lovely peaceful sun trapped space to enjoy. You will find within the house a fully stocked kitchen, with everything you need to cook, even the largest of meals! – Plenty of pots/pans/serving dishes for large meals. – Serving utensils. – Full set of knives. – Oven, grill, and hob. - Microwave  - Kettle and toaster – Fridge/freezer  - Washing machine. - Coffee machine - Salt. pepper and oil We provide all those extra little things like tea towels, j cloths, washing up liquid, bin liners etc. Leading off the kitchen is the dining room. A light airy room with a dining table, six chairs, and a highchair if needed. Plenty of space to get together and serve a family meal, picnics or takeaways! Along the hallway is a cosy living space at the front of the house with smart tv, giving access to apps such as BBC iplayer, stream films on Netflix. Board games, books (or swop-a-book), and complimentary WiFi is available. Plenty of entertainment for a night in! The sofa can be made into a comfortable double bed. for extra guests if needed. ## The neighborhood Our house is located on a quiet, sought-after residential street. A short ten minute walk into York's centre, where you will find an abundance of museums, shops, restaurants and traditional alehouses. ## Getting around The best way to get around is to park the car and go on foot! Free on street parking but please note parking can be tight due to the narrow victorian streets. We recommend to tuck your wing mirrors in!
