Mind as you go as the ducks from the little pond adjacent to The Old Dairy like to provide a warm welcome! The Old Dairy may be over 250 years old, but has been impeccably renovated. No draughty milking parlour here! The large patio doors welcome you through to a bright and airy living space, with wooden floors and a high ceiling and uninterrupted views of Rhoscolyn across the paddock and fields.

Rhoscolyn itself is a small scattered village located on the Holy Island. In an Area of Outstanding Beauty (AONB) it is excellent for sailing, kayaking and canoeing and leads to hidden beaches and clandestine coves. The Old Dairy self-catering cottage is situated in this lovely area and is the perfect base for walkers as the Anglesey Coastal Footpath runs right past the cottage and leads down to Rhoscolyn beach. Here is safe bathing in a sheltered sandy cove, as well as a slipway for launching boats and jet skis. It has excellent water quality, has a Green Coast award and is a Marine Conservation Society recommended beach. There are coastal walks on the cliffs from which an abundance of wildlife can be seen, often including seals from the headland.
