A converted stable on a peaceful farm surrounded by acres of countryside but within striking distance of Sherborne and good National Trust gardens. The Tallet is part of Home Farm, opposite the old farmhouse and next to a magnificent Somerset cider barn. The private terrace has a covered eating area (balcony off the master bedroom) and open lounging space enclosed by walls and clipped box hedging. The underfloor heating and electric log burner add warmth to the sitting room and the spacious open plan kitchen makes for a sociable space.

I am Founder and CEO School in a Bag, the charity my family and I set up in memory of my brother Piers who died in the Indian Ocean Tsunami in 2004. With our HQ at Home Farm we utilise the barn and land to host events - our biggest being Home Farm Fest, an annual 3-day music festival over the second weekend in June which donates all profits generated to School in a Bag. The Tallet is a family business - Mum cleans the property and Dad maintains the gardens at Home Farm.

The Tallet is located on a farm at the heart of the village with footpaths across the land. It is close to many National Trust attractions, 45 miles from the Dorset Jurassic coast and approx one hour from Bath, Bristol and Exeter.
