Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. . Back garden with sitting out area and garden furniture. Bike store. On-road parking. No smoking. Please note: There is an area of lawn to the rear which is sloping. Neighbour has access past for wheelie bins.. Thistle Cottage is a delightful little end of terrace cottage set quietly in the ever popular coastal village of Portpatrick. Thistle Cottage is beautifully decorated throughout and is the perfect base for a couple wishing to explore the area. The sitting room is spacious and the modern kitchen has everything you would need if you want to cook up a feast! With its comfortable bedroom and modern shower room Thistle Cottage really is a delightful little cottage. Portpatrick is one of the most popular villages on the coast and from Thistle Cottage a short stroll will take you to the seafront, small beach and picturesque harbour where you will also find some lovely pubs and restaurants where you can sit and watch the boats coming and going or you can take a fishing or sightseeing cruise from here. Walkers are well catered for in Portpatrick with spectacular cliff paths in both directions where you can follow the path past Dunskey Castle to Knockinaam or past several secluded bays to Killantringan Lighthouse. The walk from the village to Killantringan is the start of the Southern Upland Way.
