Torrington Hall is a Victorian mansion, built in 1882, set within its own grounds that has been converted into luxury self-catered accommodation, located in the heart of the old, charming city of St. Albans. Many of the building’s original features have been restored and preserved, such as the sweeping staircase, chandeliers, and ornate interior. To compliment such features, the furnishings are a mixture of old-fashioned glamour with a modern twist. There are 14 unique, luxurious bedrooms with original period features: high ceilings, exposed brick walls, fireplaces, and free-standing bathtubs. The traditional wrought-iron beds hold the finest mattresses and bedding to provide a dreamy night’s sleep. The rooms are also practical, with en-suite bathrooms, Wi-Fi, safes, and tea and coffee-making facilities.
