The Hayloft is a cosy cottage located just 10 minutes' drive from the coast, so it's perfect for a surfing or walking break. You'll enter through the courtyard into the living area, with a 50" Smart TV, electric 'log burner' and comfy sofa. The kitchen has everything you need, like an oven, microwave and electric hob for cooking meals, as well as a fridge, electric kettle, toaster and Nespresso machine. There's tea, coffee, milk (and oat alternative) for a brew on arrival. Upstairs is a coastal-inspired bedroom, with a double bed and walk-in wardrobe. The ensuite is kitted out with a bathtub, rain shower, hairdryer and bath products: shampoo, conditioner, body wash and even bubble bath. The outdoor courtyard is the perfect spot to enjoy the sunshine with your morning coffee or hop in the outdoor tub for a bubble bath! Whilst we’ve made the bath area as private as possible, please know the cottage is in a residential area and so the courtyard is overlooked - therefore, we’d suggest bringing a cozzie if you’re outdoor tub-ing and some flip flops to get to the bath. The Hayloft adjoins another private property, separated by a locked internal door, but there are no shared spaces.

The Hayloft is located between the surfing beach of Westward Ho! and the fishing village of Appledore. There are some fabulous walks along the North Devon coast and the cottage is just a 5-minute walk from the coastal path, which you can follow all the way into Appledore for a delicious lunch or an ice cream on the seafront. Plus, with a bus stop at the end of the road, you can explore the local area easily without having to drive - ideal if you fancy dinner out. You can also take the 15-minute walk down to Bideford Quay and catch the ferry to Lundy Island (famous for its Puffins!) on select days in the summer. If you’re into your golf, the Royal Norh Devon Golf Club, home to the oldest golf course in England, is only 10 minutes away at Westward Ho!
