West End Cottage enjoys a central setting in the popular village of Carrbridge, yards from the famous 18th-century packhorse bridge and near the banks of the River Dulnain, which meanders through the village and eventually merges with the River Spey. The village is situated at the base of the Monadhliath Mountains, and is well known for the warmth of its welcome to visitors. The cottage is the perfect base from which to explore this beautiful part of the Highlands, and there are woodland and riverside walks to suit all abilities leading right from the doorstep. It is within a minute’s walk of the shop, pubs and tea rooms, and just a few minutes further from the wonderful Landmark Forest Adventure Park, where adults and children can have a fun-filled day.
