Beautiful location and view. We were also upgraded which was really kind.

Lovely views, very clean, pleasantly decorated, very close to train station

Room dated but comfortable. Service was very good. We arrived late and checked out early.

excellent location, nice little room with great view over Eigg and Rhum; v friendly and helpful receptionist

We were upgrade to the "King Suite" as the shower of the room we had booked was apparently not working. The suite was very spacious and the bed was comfy. Very close to the train station.

I had a sweet small gabled room with a lovely view of the sea over rooftops. The lady who checked me in and let me know many details over the evening was exceptionally friendly and lovely. I was travelling alone before meeting my daughter and her family, and I was made to feel very comfortable. The terrace restaurant serves excellent food, wine and cocktails, again with a beautiful view. It's really handy for the railway station, less than five minutes' walk. Also less than 5 minutes' walk to the Skye and small isles ferries at the harbour. Several food and pub options nearby, but the hotel restaurant is wonderful, so no need!

Fiona the manager went out of her way to be welcoming and warm.

Room booked was a 'cosey room'. It was bigger than I expected. It had a double bed and ample room to get around. The terrace out front was a nice place to relax, with great views across to Skye, particularly special at sunset

Despite the problems of having the work going on to refurbish the fire damage, our stay was not compromised in any way. The hotel is well placed for all amenities as well as the ferry ⛴.

I asked to change rooms (just because I wanted a bit lighter room) and was accommodated with no fuss. The staff here are exceptional and views amazing. Beautiful old hotel - a real pleasure to be there.
