Located on the Northwestern edge of the National Park, Woodside is the perfect home away from home whether your ideal holiday is ambling through beautiful rolling countryside or exploring the towns and destinations of the Lake District, you’ll find all are within easy reach. The lodge itself sleeps four, benefitting from wrap around decking and private parking. There is a wall mounted smart TV, dining facilities for four in the open-plan living space, with ample opportunity to recline and relax in the seating area. Morning light floods in through the multiple windows creating that feeling of brightness and space, especially the full-length window which benefits from views of the nearby forest. All windows are covered by either curtains or blinds allowing privacy when needed, or to just create a cosy atmosphere in the evening. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need, including a microwave, gas oven and hob, kettle, toaster, and tea-towels. For your convenience there’s a vacuum cleaner and handy dustpan and brush located in the cupboard next to the fridge freezer. Although the lodge benefits from central heating, the living space can be cosy in a matter of moments thanks to an electric fire, which when turned on creates an attractive cosy light and ambiance on those darker evenings. And if required, there are additional standalone oil heaters if you just need a little extra warmth on those cooler evenings. Freshly laundered bedding, towels, and blankets can be found in both bedrooms, and the master bedroom benefits from a handy ensuite. The master bedroom is particularly spacious with ample storage and has within it a handy dresser, with mirror, and plug sockets nearby. This is a multi-functional area that can also be used as a workspace, if needed.

Ideally situated for exploring everything the beautiful Cumbrian countryside has to offer, the Lakeland destinations of Buttermere, Derwentwater, and Bassenthwaite are close by as well as the costal attractions of the Solway Firth, St. Bees Head, and Seascale to name a few.
