Yew Tree is a delightful double-fronted Cotswold stone cottage, part of which dates back to the 16th Century. Sitting on the peaceful high street in Longborough, just a short stroll from the friendly village pub, this exceptional house is both elegant and filled with character and offers the perfect Cotswold escape. Sleeping 8 guests (inclusive of children and infants under 2) in 4 bedrooms. Yew Tree Cottage is dog friendly and has been renovated to the highest standard to create a superbly comfortable holiday home. Set across 3 floors this pretty cottage is the epitome of style and elegance and retains a wealth of original features. On the ground floor, the spacious kitchen-diner with its vaulted ceiling is a real wow factor, whilst the super-stylish living room boasts a stunning, inglenook fireplace with a wood-burning stove. There are 3 bedrooms and a family bathroom on the 1st floor, and a master bedroom on the second floor with an ensuite shower room. Please note that additional guests above the maximum capacity are not permitted. It is the policy of this property not to take bookings for groups where the majority of guests are under the age of 25, or single-sex group celebrations, including stag/hen parties.

Longborough is a quiet village close to Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh with a community-run village shop and a friendly pub, just a short walk from the cottage. The village is best known for the Longborough Festival Opera which takes place during the summer. This is a peaceful spot but ideal for attractions such as Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park, Broadway, Burford, Bourton-on-the-Water, and the Cotswold Wildlife Park, all within easy reach. Supermarkets and Shopping: The community-run village shop is a 2-minute walk from the cottage. In Stow-on-the-Wold (2 miles) there is a Tesco and in Moreton-in-Marsh (3 miles) a Co-op and an Aldi. The Cotswold Food Store and Café is a 2-minute drive and there are some excellent farm shops around the area too.
