Great location. So handy for the beach and the local taverna. Although you’ll need a car to get there and nip out to the supermarket near lixouri, there’s little need to use it for anything else. We would set up base on the loungers in the garden each day and from there it’s just a few steps down the the beach. Toni was really welcoming and even took the kids off snorkelling to show them the best spots. The sea is great for swimming and paddle boarding. We are in the taverna next door every night. Good value and friendly staff.

My name is Antonios and after a long career, me and my wife Angelica made our dream come true. After so many wonderful years of marriage and raising three kids, it is impossible to write about myself without including her. Hospitality, Discretion, and Fun are our core family values. Property information

What makes this place unique is its location. Sitting right on Kounopetra beach the property offers direct access to the safest beach in Kefalonia. The beach is made up of a soft, red sand that slopes very gently and the water remains shallow (knee level) for about 20m from the shore. The cape offers very calm and safe waters making it ideal for children. The surrounding area is covered by farmland. A great variety of small fish and birds pass through the area providing a very diverse environment. All the villas look to the south-east viewing the sea including the uninhabited isle of Vardiani, the island of Zante, and Mt Aenos. The buildings are designed based on a modernized style of traditional Kefalonian architecture and their interiors are decorated with modern furniture. All rooms are spacious with high ceilings, air conditioners, and large windows placed strategically to offer a sunny and airy ambiance. Surrounded by a colorful garden, this property provides the perfect scenery to experience wonderful moments that make loving memories you want to relive.

Neighbourhood information

Cape Kounopetra is one of the best places to see the sunset on the island. With its surrounding asphalt roads it offers the perfect environment for a nice walk or jog. Moreover, there are several farms around the area where visitors can admire domestic animals like horses, sheep, and goats. There is also an aqua-park with waterslides close to the property, kids really love it. In about 5min drive, you can explore the winery of Foivos Domaine whose ancient vineyards are mentioned in Homer's Odyssey and has won many international awards. Also, every August Kefalonia's largest wine festival takes place in Mantzavinata village only 5min drive from the property. There you can try local wines from almost every village of Kefalonia. Experienced foodies love this side of the island. It is its most agrarian part and locals recognize it as the place to go when it comes to dining out. A traditional tavern sits right next to the property, serving fresh fish caught in the Kefalonian sea as well as many famous local dishes. Home deliveries are offered.
