Mary's Studios & Apartment, hotel in Sami

Set in Sami, 600 metres from Karavomilos Beach, Mary's Studios & Apartment offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking.

Small family run apartments about 6 or 7 mins from the beach. Apartment i had was on the top floor. Had a small outside seating area which i enjoyed using to watch the sunset. The inside of the rooms are spotless. They have thought about your comfort- starter pack of cookies, coffee, tea, milk, laundry detergent etc. Was very impressed with this. Small toiletries in the shower too. Bathroom was decent but of course the inevitable greek shower curtain was present rather than a shower door. Bed was huge and very comfortable. I only used this place for a short overnight stay but i would come back and use it for much longer if i visit again.

Stalaktites Studios, hotel in Sami

The studios Stalaktites are located in the area of Drogarati, near the Drogarati Cave, and only 3 km from the port of Sami.

The place met our expectations — primarily because it is located right across from the Drogarati Cave and very close (about 10 minutes by car) to Melissani. The property has a large parking lot, and the rooms are clean and welcoming. There is breakfast on-site, a restaurant within the complex, and a pool that can be used all day. Other than that, we liked the place. Margarita was very polite and cheerful, and she gave us great recommendations on where to go and what to do in the city. The place is quiet, allowing for a good night's sleep, the food prices are reasonable, and it was full of cats, which is a plus!

Very nice appartment, very clean and nice amosphere. Comfortable bed, pleasant kitchen area. The appartment also has a dedicated washingmachine, the airconditioning was much appreciated too. The balcony is very spacious and gets a lot of sun. quiet surrounding (except when the farmer works on the fields nextdoor). 10 minutes walk to the beach and 15 minute walk to Sami town center.

Very well appointed studio. On corner of two busy streets and located close to arrival and departure of ferries carrying commercial vehicles. So noisy during all hours.

It’s a very nice town that has a more locals living there feeling. The terrain is wonderful. Sami beach was wonderful the restaurant on Sami beach was wonderful. The acropolis of Sami was a highlight of our three week trip. The Contessa restaurant in Sami was great. And everyday we traveled to a different part of the island. Views everywhere spectacular.

    Lovely small harbour town.

Lovely small harbour town. Long beaches , with beautiful clear water. Lovely vibe in the evening peak season and could walk a few minutes along the front and have a beach to ourselves. A couple of good bars and great restaurants.

Sami is a great location for a family holiday.

Sami is a great location for a family holiday. Low key and traditional, maintaining its Greek heritage. Lots of family-run businesses and a popular stop for overnight yachts. Lots of very good restaurants to choose from and mini-markets for self-catering.

A quiet and rather boring village, but a very good base to access water transport to the other islands, and to enjoy the wonderful Antisamos beach and the very interisting Melissani cenote and Karavomylos karstic lake.

Sami is a small, friendly town - but it's also the main port for the East side of the island, so it's easy to take a boat trip. It's convenient for Melissani Cave (we walked there) and Antisamos Beach (a rather longer walk). There are plenty of good places to eat, and although it is sometimes busy, it's not crowded or hectic. The beaches are pebbly, so take a pair of beach shoes. The water is incredible - the sea is crystal clear and wonderful to swim in.

The mobile home was perfect. Well equipped, spotlessly clean, in a lovely shaded location. The air-conditioning and shower were better than in many hotels! The campsite itself was superb with a great pool, nice gardens, bar/restaurant, easy access to a long beach, and just a short walk into Sami. The Happy Camp rep, Gabriella, was lovely. The friendliest welcome and always available if anyone needed help or information. A really great holiday!

It was very close to the main port and Sami's center. It was close to every thing :) Owner was very friendly, nice, hospitable and helpful. There was a Roman Bath excavation on the same street. Kitchen was well-equipted.So we could easily cook without got any food smell in our room. Safe neighborhood that we could hang around late at night.

I read a number of reviews before booking our stay at Sami Beach Hotel. Reviews are very positive and I can see why some stayers would find this hotel as good place to rest. It is in a very quiet place, by the sea with a very attentive staff. Rooms are basic but clean.
