You will need only 30 minutes from Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport and 25 minutes to get to the centre of Athens on a car drive. During your visit you will not hear any sounds from the road, due to the apartment's location. You will approximately need a 35 minute drive to get to the sea. Being so close to mountain Parnitha enables you to go hiking, mountain biking enjoying mountainous activities.

Visiting Athens is a unique experience as you can visit monuments such as the Acropolis, Sounio and picturesque areas such as Plaka, Thiseio, Kerameikos and much more. You can learn important information about democracy and ancient Greeks' life. You can taste delicious meals and walk in picturesque places. Maybe you already know all these. But as mentioned before, we want you to explore and encounter travelling through active tourism. During your visit to Acharnes don't miss a ride on Parnitha's Cable Car, in order to admire the magnificent view of Athens, as seen from the mountain. The area arround the apartment in well known for the good greek food. I would also suggest that you visit the museums in the nearby area such as Yannis Tsarouchis Foundation Museum, Goulandri Natural History Museum, Mamush museum, OTE museum and for Playmobil Fun Park for our little friends. One unique experience is a visit to Queen's Castle in Ilion, which I would highly recommend. In a short distance around the house (about 50 to 100 metres you can find cafeterias, supermarket, ATM, bakery and pharmacy. The bus stop is just around the corner.
