Villa Pavlina is a delightful whitewashed stone-built single-story villa with blue wooden shutters and a rustic interior. It has two terraces. The main one has all day sunshine, decking, and a swimming pool, while the small rear terrace has partial morning shade, ideal for al fresco breakfasts. The open-plan interior is air-conditioned and tastefully decorated in a rustic style, which offers a warm and welcoming ambiance. The living area has comfortable sofas surrounding an open fireplace (ideal for winter breaks) and has a TV, DVD Player, Playstation, games, books, and DVDS. In the kitchen, cupboard space and worktops are ample, and the kitchen is fully equipped, including a toaster, microwave, full-sized fridge freezer, and stove. while the dining area is perfect for those rare days of inside dining. The main bedroom is bright and tastefully furnished and the second bedroom has a purpose-built bunk bed, with a double lower bed and single upper bed, accessed by wooden steps. In the main living area, there is a lovely day bed, which is ideal for relaxing on or can be used as an additional sleeping space. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and there is a washing machine.

Originally from the UK, my family and I have had a great love affair with Rhodes since first visiting in 2003 on a family holiday. Over the years we found ourselves being drawn back time and time again and eventually bought land and built our own holiday home, which we lovingly designed to recreate the rustic ambiance of a traditional exposed ston Greek home. We spent many happy family holidays in what is now Villa Pavlina Gennadi, while making lasting friendships with the warm people of the lovely village of Gennadi. My children loved having the freedom that village life allowed and delighted in being able to independently walk the few minutes from our villa to the village bakery to buy fresh bread for our breakfast, which we would enjoy eating on our terrace with the Aegean Sea as our backdrop. The delightful village of Gennadi is only a few minutes walk from Villa Pavlina, and has a bakery, fruit and vegetable store, supermarket, pharmacy and medical centre. There is also a great choice of Tavernas, contemporary style restaurants, bars, and coffee shops, and in the evenings the village centre is closed to traffic and becomes a hub of al fresco dining, while Gennadi beach is only ten minutes on foot from Villa Pavlina. Gennadi is on the southeast of Rhodes, only 27 kms from the popular tourist village of Lindos, 65kms from Rhodes Diagoras Airport and 63kms from Rhodes Old Town. Nearby there are plenty of activities to choose from, including horse trekking, quad and motorbike hire, boat tours and water sports. Lardos is only 17 minutes by car and Faliraki Waterpark is 53kms away. While a car would be advantageous for visiting the many beautiful attractions that Rhodes has to offer, you can easily stay at Villa Pavlina without a car as regular bus services connect Gennadi with all the attractions as well as Rhodes Town.
