Our house-apartment consists of a dinning and a sleeping room, a hall with kitchen and a bathroom. In the warm months - from May to October - you have an additional living and dinning room: a garden of approx. 200 square meters. It is rather a little private park with several trees, flowerbeds and rose bushes. Our house can accommodate up to four people - there is a double bed in the sleeping room and a convertible couch in the dining room suitable for two persons. Our house has the charm of old times, at the same time it offers the convenience of modern times: The house has central gas heating. In the bathroom there is a shower cabin and a washing machine. The small “tailor-made” kitchen is ideal for preparing light meals - it has a fridge, two cooking plates, a toaster, and all the utensils you need for cooking. In the dining room there is a big table with four chairs, a cupboard with dishes and a convertible couch. In the sleeping room there is a double bed, a commode, a wardrobe, and a wonderful view to the garden. When you are in the sleeping room, or in the garden, you feel like in a secluded, private world of its own and you can enjoy silence.

I am Zagreb born artist - painter and sculptor. Since 1989 I am living between Cologne /Germany and Zagreb. I love to travel and work in different places and countries and meet inspiring people. This is the main reason why we, me and my husband Stephan, who is also sculptor, decided to share our city flats in Zagreb and Cologne and our house in Punat on the island of Krk / Croatia. Besides being places for living, offering you all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay, our apartments are exhibition places for our original art works - painting objects and sculptures, which give our places a unique artistic flair. We would be happy to share our places with everyone who likes to travel and meet new cultures, especially with those who appreciate art. Our friends describe our flats as "galleries where you can live in." By sharing our apartments with you we would like to enable you to live in an inspiring creative ambiance we created with much love and dedicated work. Our Zagreb Upper Town Romantic House is located in a big garden (more than 200 square meters!), situated in the very heart of historical, cultural and political centre of Zagreb. It sounds like a fairy tale, does it not? Well, it is a kind of a fairy tale. "Our romantic house is right behind the St. Mark’s Church, the symbol of the city of Zagreb and Croatia; it is two walking minutes from Croatia’s Parliament and the seat of the Croatian Government. Right across the street you will find the famous museum “Atelier Mestrovic”, dedicated to Croatia’s most famous 20th century sculptor, Ivan Mestrovic. Several other attractive museums and galleries - such as Klovicevi Dvori, the most representative gallery for contemporary art in Croatia, Museum of Broken Relationships - listed among Europe’s ten most interesting museums, Museum of the City of Zagreb, Museum of Naive Art – just to mention some of them. They are all located less than five minutes of walking from our house. Walking through the Stone Gate, another symbol of Zagreb, you reach Zagreb’s main square - the Ban Jelacic Square with the famous Dolac market above in some ten minutes.
