Kopački rit nature park Just 2 kilometers from Aljmaš lies one of the largest alluvial plains in Europe. During the year this area significantly changes its appearance depending on the intensity of flooding, mostly from the Danube. Confluence of the Drava and the Danube A place where the two rivers touch and connect people and coastline. Approximately 20 kilometers from the city of Osijek and only 2 kilometers from Aljmaš. Wine Road Situated on the eastern slopes of the hill next to the river Danube, which sails around Erdut and makes it a peninsula. Capacity of the basements of Erdut vineyards, which are situated right next to the vineyard, is 6.000.000 liters. Erdut vineyards possess the world's largest barrel in use. It was built in 1990, and its volume is 75 000 liters. It was made by splitting 109 oak arcs. The arcs have been dried for 10 years, with thickness of 22 cm. Barrel is mounted with as much as 2.5 tons of iron.
