Relax in the heart of nature in our house, renovated in 2023 under the strict supervision of conservators and protected by UNESCO as an authentic wooden house of the region. Built entirely of oak wood and natural materials, the house offers a perfect blend of comfort, peace, and connectivity. The house consists of two floors, each with its own entrance, giving guests the choice of booking the entire house or just one floor/apartment. Each floor provides complete privacy and comfort for your stay. Both floors feature a bedroom equipped with a double bed and an additional bed, making it ideal for families or groups of friends. Each floor also has a fully equipped kitchen, allowing you to prepare delicious meals, and a terrace with a beautiful view of the river, providing a peaceful spot for relaxation. Each floor is also equipped with air conditioning to ensure a comfortable stay throughout the year. For additional enjoyment of nature, an outdoor dining area is available, where you can relish the beauty of the surrounding landscape while enjoying your meals. A fenced garden, safe for children and pets, extending over 200 m², featuring 85 apple and pear trees whose fruits ripen from July to November and are free for you to pick and enjoy.

Krapje is nestled in the heart of Lonjsko Polje Nature Park, one of Europe's most significant wetland areas. Our Oak Holiday House Nature, is situated just 100 meters from the entrance to the Nature Park, offering you a unique opportunity to explore this protected area and enjoy its biodiversity. Lonjsko Polje Nature Park is home to numerous rare plant and animal species, including storks, which are a symbol of this area. In front of the house is a stop for the tourist boat that navigates the nearby Sava River and its branches, taking you to the only primeval forest in Europe. The village of Krapje also offers fascinating opportunities to explore local culture and history. The visitor education center in Krapje provides a detailed insight into the traditional way of life in this area and the conservation of the park's natural heritage. For local cuisine enthusiasts, we highly recommend the Ribič restaurant, known for its fish specialties, just 500 meters from our house. For your daily needs, a small shop is only 300 meters away, while a larger store is nearby in the town of Novska. The village of Čigoč, known as the first European stork village, is just a 30-minute drive from our accommodation. Lipik Spa is near Krapje, about 30 kilometers away. Lipik is renowned for its thermal waters and wellness offerings. Additionally, Lipik is known for its centuries-old tradition of horse breeding. Based on this long tradition and passion, Lipik today has the honor of breeding new generations of noble Lipizzaner horses. Topusko Spa is somewhat further away, around 120 kilometers from Krapje.
