The Pelješac Peninsula is the second largest peninsula in Croatia and stretches over 65 km between the mainland and the islands of Korčula and Mljet. Limestone, relatively high ridges stretch along the coast. Between them lies a fertile plain with excellent vines in the center of the peninsula.
