In the immediate vicinity of the camp is the town of Kolan, a famous green oasis in stone and the cradle of the legendary Pag cheese. While staying in our camp, we highly recommend a visit to the most famous and award-winning cheese producers Gligora and MIH, but don´t forget to take home your cheese souvenir. Kolanjsko polje is near the camp and Kolan - a field where you can see impressive Pag stone walls built only of natural stone. Apart from the stone walls, which represent the hard work of the ancestors, who with their effort and patience built these spectacular walls that spread throughout the island, in Kolanjsko polje you can see the remains of mines from which coal was extracted for many years. The famous and unique Lun olive groves can be found only a few minutes’ drive from the camp, which for centuries represent the most exotic corner in the region.
