The Sunbird Apartment Budapest is away from tourist traffic, but only 10 minutes away from the city center. The speed bus and the night bus stops almost in front of the door. There are parks, local restaurants, cafes, playgrounds, thermal spa's... around. Parking is NOT free on my street, it costs 300HUF/hour on workdays only, from 8am until to 6pm. I collect tourist/city tax via online billing system. It is NOT included in the price you pay to booking_com. The apartment is sefl-check-in, it has a smart lock and has no reception. Guests may check-in from 14.00 until next morning using unique PIN code. 24x7 phone support help is available. Smart phone app is also available for the smart lock. Detailed information is sent to guest about the smart lock in time. The apartment is 40 square meters. All windows are modern, 3 layer glass, soundproof, insulated, with shutters and mosquito nets. Bedroom: It's an 'L' shaped room with a 4 star hotel quality double bed (180x200 cm) and a 4* single bed (90x200cm), please check out on the photos. If you come with a baby, I can provide you a cots. Bathroom: with a "walk in" shower, sink with a cabinet, mirror, smart washing machine with drier function, and hairdryer. Kitchen: is fully equipped with electric oven and hot plate, microwave, toaster, dishwasher and a super espresso machine. You will also find coffee tea in my kitchen. Open air terrace belongs to my flat. You find table and chairs there. Smoking is only allowed outside, in the garden! Guests may bring dogs, but please notify us about such request in advance! We have a pet policy, dogs cannot be left in the apartment without human supervision. we charge a surcharge of 3EUR/dog/night. We allow max. 2 small dogs (up to 10 kg) or max. 1 medium or large dog (up to 35 kg). Larger dogs we do not accept. Cats not allowed.

In practice, the data must be collected via digital scanning of identification documents and uploaded to a Closed Information Database for Guests (Vendég Információs Zárt Adatbázis or VIZA) provided by the Hungarian Tourism Agency. If a guest refuses to provide the required document, this individual must be refused the accommodation service. The data shall include details such as name, surname, place and date of birth, nationality, the address of the accommodation and expected dates of stay and other data. For Hungarian guests, national identity cards, driving licenses and passports are accepted as proof of identity. For guests arriving from the EU, identity cards and passports are accepted, and for guests arriving from third countries, only passports are accepted for identification and document scanning.
This is a family-friendly area with small parks, playgrounds, supermarkets, pharmacy, grocery, bakery, pizza, ice cream, coffee shops, gas station and a huge billiard saloon...etc. to get everything what you need. Tourist tax / city tax is NOT included in the price you pay to booking com. It is 530HUF / person / night above the age of 18. The guests will receive a pro forma invoice via email about the tax fee, they need to pay it in advance via online secure card transaction platform provided by the host. Guests can only occupy the accommodation after the tax has been paid and the online guest book has been filled in. In case of cancellation or no-show, this tax fee will be refund to the guests. We recommend to guests to use "Vendégem" self-check-in smart phone app to scan their own ID documents to VIZAinfo system. Details will be sent to guests. Security camera is in use at the entrance door, inside.
