Luxury in downtown Debrecen for up to 10 guests. The Sky Apartment in Debrecen is the place you want to stay during your visit. The newly renovated 120 m² apartment is at your disposal without any restrictions. All rooms are 3,6 m high, as it is an original Jewish burgher house from the beginning of the 19th century. The house has been renovated and offers you the comfort of the 21st century. The view over the roofs of Debrecen makes this apartment so unique, it has wide windows that let the daylight in. However, these can be shaded (electric shutters) if you wish. The kitchen is equipped for cooking and serving for ten people and if you wish we can provide you with basic kitchen equipment such as spices, oil, sugar etc. We can also do the shopping for you, then the refrigerator will be filled with everything you order when you arrive and the drinks will be already chilled as well. You can also take advantage of the wide range of restaurants with delivery service, they are especially cheap in Debrecen and save you a lot of time and work. However, grocery stores open around the clock are just a few steps away and a huge supermarket (Tesco) is located at the end of the street (500 m). I would like to point out that while most Hungarian stores accept credit cards, the Hungarian currency is the forint. The Sky Apartment is additionally equipped with a washing machine, three TV sets, central heating and air conditioning because summers in Debrecen are dry and hot (up to 40 °C). Free parking is available in the courtyard of the house, which is accessible through an electric gate. Parking on most of the streets of Debrecen is unfortunately chargeable.

In Sky Apartment, you will feel especially comfortable during your stay in the second-largest city of Hungary and the center of the region. Sky Apartment is located only 3 minutes walk from the cultural and commercial center of Debrecen, the main square with the “big church” (HU = Nagytemplom). Buses stop in front of the front door, and they will take you to all places in the city and the surrounding area. The city center, where Sky Apartment is located, is renovated and in good condition. It is a middle-class, urban environment. Like most Hungarian city centers, Debrecen is under camera surveillance and therefore safe by day and night. Keep in mind that Debrecen is one of the most popular investment areas in the world (top 10 according to Financial Times). The constant influx of companies also considering the gigantic investment around BMW means that Debrecen is a very international city. The university is also attended by more than 10,000 non-Hungarian speaking students. This cosmopolitan and well-organized metropolis offers everything that belongs to an urban, globalized lifestyle. Debrecen is the second-largest city in Hungary after Budapest and the commercial and cultural regional center of the Hungarian Great Plain. Debrecen was also the capital of Hungary during the revolution of 1848 to 1849, but during the revolution the dethronement of the Habsburg dynasty was declared in the Reformed Great Church. Very close and yet far enough. The apartment is centrally located, but not yet in the pedestrian zone, and therefore easily accessible by car. The train station is three, the highway ten minutes away by car. Bars and restaurants are nearby. Park your car for free in our courtyard. Remember that there is an alcohol “zero tolerance rule” for drinking and driving throughout Hungary. Why don't you call a cab? It's cheap! Be sure to visit the national park “Hortobágy” (about 40 km) and experience the real Hungarian lowlands (HU = Puszta).
