With the World Heritage site's central Dísz square at a 2-minute walk, this tranquil residential area is embedded in cobbled streets, grand medieval monuments and quaint cafes. The neighbourhood offers great dining and lovely evening strolls through narrow alleyways or along the picturesque Danube. The winding street this apartment is at reveals superb views across the river towards the illuminated Parliament Building. Having the central Chain Bridge 200m away, makes this an ideal base to explore the inner city. The entertainment quarter with its ruin bars is a 16-minute walk across the bridge towards Deák square metro junction, or a 2-minute walk plus 8-minute bus ride (departing every 5 minutes). This upscale part of town is also very safe: there's zero risk of getting mugged when coming home at night. Streets are clean here, there's no passers-by urinating in the gates and no noise disturbance. Residents in this building are normal families, implying guests are not inconvenienced by poverty-stricken tenants or partying travellers. Street parking is paid throughout the center: Mo-Fr 8am-6pm.
