The cottage has real charm. It's central location on Aran makes it an excellent base to explore the island by foot. Taxi drivers were available when needed, and provided all the local knowledge we needed.

Everything was perfect! The location as well, if you are that kind of person that prefers piece and quiet. Cause it's a litle bit out of the way. Which we really loved! Support from owner was excellent even with the Covid Situation. We would love to come back again .

    We are located in the centre of the Island. By taxi = 5 mins By foot = 30 mins By bike = 12 mins

  • Hi there, I was wondering if you have any availability for July 30th 2022 for 1 night? I am getting married the next day and need to stay on the island the night before. My grandmother was Barbara Burke from Kileaney and we still have family on the island. Joanna

  • Thinking of staying for christmas. How do we get to island by ferry? How do we book the ferry to coincide with dates?...is it possible to get christmas dinner on the island?.....thanks
    Hello, I would recommend booking ferry via Aran Island Ferries and they are wonderful and helpful. In regards to Christmas Dinner - the cottage has a fully equipped kitchen. Everywhere will be closed

    Yes there are plenty of taxis on the island. They work as tour guides and taxis. They are super lovely and very reliable. Not too expensive usually less than €10 per journey
