Oasis is a detached dormer bungalow in a quiet cul-de-sac located in a quiet suburban area known as 'The Glebe' located to the rear of the Abbey Vocational School., just minutes from the Diamond (centre of Donegal town). Two doors down, there is a 'short cut' walk to town enabling guests to safely park up and take the 4-5 minute walk in the direction of the Quay, to eat, socialise, shop or view the sights of Donegal town. Oasis provides guests with practical comforts in a 'home from home' atmosphere. Beds are comfortable, linen freshly laundered, cosy duvets with extra pillows and blankets for chilly evenings. Dressing gowns and slippers are provided for rooms sharing bathrooms. The ensuite is downstairs as is the family bathroom with a Double and Twin room upstairs and a shower room with electric shower. A coffee dock on the landing completes the accommodation. A continental breakfast is included in the rate, this includes a choice of Juices,Fruit, Cereals,Yoghurts, Tea/Coffee with Toast, Breads and farmhouse brown-bread. A full/ small Irish breakfast is provided as an extra as is hams , cheeses, sardines or mackeral. Please book and pay for extras the evening prior!

The immediate vicinity is quiet and away from the noise of town yet just a short stroll downhill. Please ask about the short cut down town. A taxi ride back will cost you 5 euros. A visit to the Castle is to be recommended as well as a trip around the Bay on the Water Boat to open up Donegal from the coast. The river-bank walk for the exercise conscious, take in the railway museum and the famine graveyard and a drive around Lough Eske. Enquire about the various shops, restaurants and bars for a recommendation. If you like the beach, we can direct you to two in the area or if a game of Golf or a bit of Fishing is your interest, all are within easy reach. A bit further but easily accessible is the highest Cliffs in Europe at Teelan, near Carrick and Glencolumbcille in west Donegal as well as the Glenveagh National Park and the wild Atlantic way for spectacular scenery. Remember to pick up stamps in the Post Office as well as the Passport for the wild Atlantic way.
