Philippe and Sophie are excellent hosts, friendly and welcoming. The location is fantastic. Gorgeous views and a lovely, beautifully landscaped garden that guests have access to, with hidden hammocks, tropical plants, herb beds and plenty of bees. The apartment is quite compact but comfortable and has everything you need for light self catering: a microwave and a toaster/ pizza heater. We brought 2 cars and used it as the base for walking the Beara Way from Glengariff to Ardgroom. It suited our needs perfectly.

Featuring a sub-tropical garden and sea views of Bantry bay and Bere island, Rodeen offers a one-bedroom apartment located at 3-minute drive from the busy fishing port of Castletownbere. This is a totally self-contained private living space suitable for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers or small families. It will provide you with a perfect rental for a few nights or extended stay. It is the ideal base for exploring the South West of Ireland. From here, golfing, fishing, hiking, biking, touring and sightseeing are all at your doorstep. This cosy apartment has its own private entrance. It is inclusive of oil central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels. Tastefully decorated, the apartment features a comfortable lounge with TV and a sofa bed (suitable to accommodate one or two young children).The kitchenette comprises a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a microwave as well as a kettle and toaster. Dishes and utensils are also provided. In addition, a storage cupboard will enable you to tidy your personal belongings. In a separate room, the bedroom holds a double bed and is adjoined by an en-suite with sink, shower. There is free parking and WIFI access.
We have a great passion for Ireland and its wide-open spaces and wonders. We are in love with words and look forward to welcoming in English, French or Spanish. We will be delighted to guide you through your discovery of the West Cork and throughout Ireland.
From Rodeen apartment, you can drive along the coast to enjoy the landscapes of the ring of Beara, walk on Bere island or take the cable car to reach Dursey island. You can also discover the nearest towns of Bantry, Kenmare or even visit the national park of Gougane Barra.
