With the distance of about 950.0 meters, it takes almost 4 minutes to reach Down Town Homestay from Kurseong Railway Station. Being a two-storied building, the building provides three rooms for the guests. All three rooms also provide the view of the Kanchenjunga Range on clear days.
The homestay is run by the couple, husband is a civil engineer by profession, and wife is the former teacher of St. Helen's Convent of Kurseong itself.
There is a clear view of the mountains on clear days along with the view of the River Balasun towards the west. Guests may find the local attraction, The Deer Park, about 3.7 km away from the property. The scenic spot of Kurseong, Eagle's Crag, is located 2 kms away and takes almost 11 minutes to reach there by car depending upon the traffic conditions. The Rock Garden is also located about 3 km away from homestay.
