We have an elevated wooden cottage with a bedroom, living room, dining and quite a big balcony with the view of the forest. Downstairs has an additional bedroom which is a wooden paneled one.

The property is managed by a care taker. He will be around all the time when the guests are there at Solitude. He will provide you with home cooked food on request on advance notice.

Solitude is in Viripara village, which is sparsely populated. You would get a chance to enjoy the calm serene nature of Munnar with a view of forest. There are some small shops at walk able distance for local snacks. You would find a waterfall and a short trekking trail at 5 minutes drive from Solitude. There are also longer trekking trail available around the place. You could also go for a short drive around the tea estate at a distance of 10 minutes drive from Solitude. Anakkulam is another attraction near Solitude where elephants come down to quench their thirst in the evenings. Tiger caves is a local attraction which is at a short drive from Solitude.
