She also gave us a secret place to take the first picture!! The apartment was even more beautiful in person than the pictures. Before we arrived in Matera, as a tip, we drove to the Belvedere di Murgia outside of Matera first to take pictures of the whole town.”

“I travel often for work, and I have to say Alina’s rooms are in my top 10. Beautiful interior design - with first class materials and execution. Very stylish and tasteful. The roof top terrace is stunning. Large and as high up as you can be in Matera it has a view to die for (the pun is intended - James Bond’s motorcycle jump from No Time to Die is about 150 meters away at Piazza Duomo). The tower was inhabited by the Knights of the order of St John for two centuries, and it even has its own small garden within the walls. You have to park a little outside the old town and walk in - but it’s worth it, it really is.”

The location is in an ideal position in the heart of Matera so that we could reach everything by feet. The room was big, clean and comfortable with a great view to the Sassi of Matera, a great stay in the overall! The terrace was amazing and the breakfast they offer was great too!”

“This place has the absolute best view of the Sassi as the building is situated quite high. We loved hanging out at terrace and our balcony as you get the place all to yourself! There is also a jacuzzi and a fancy shower which made the stay even more perfect - felt like we were at a day spa! You will not be disappointed :)”
