Four minutes away from the Circus Maximus and 8 from the Colosseum. The living room, with its two windows, opens on the terrace overlooking Viale Aventino, one of the most chic and enchanting residential roads of the city. The kitchen has all the necessary for sumptuous breakfasts and meals that we recommend to have on the outdoor table: when the sun is out the temperature is exquisite until December. The bedrooms are on the other side of the house: the master bedroom is light and airy with two windows and wooden furniture to match the polished wooden floor. The other bedroom comes with an en suite bathroom (there are two bathrooms in total). The mattresses are about 21 cm high and they come with a topper, hypoallergenic pillows, 100 percent cotton sheets and cozy blankets. The neighbourhood is one of the most elegant and ancient of the city, the apartment is in a building that dates back to the 1920s, IT DOESN'T HAVE AN ELEVATOR for this reason, though the staircase are very wide. The apartment is in one of the most elegant and ancient areas of the city, Aventino neighbourhood. There are plenty of facilities (supermarkets, restaurants, bistros, cafes, shops, pharmacy, hair dresser's, beauty salon, bank, ATM, and more). The main road, Viale Aventino is rich of historical buildings and sites (the Circus Maximus is only 4 minutes away, the Colosseum 8, then Terme di Caracalla and several remarkable churches). The buildings are mainly all architectural masterpieces of different époques, including ours, a fine construction of the mid 1920s, for this reason without elevator. The apartment is located close to excellent points of connection (two metro stations, Circo Massimo and Piramide, at short distance, and plenty of bus stops, streetcar stops and taxi stations. A cycling path right downstairs will take you around the city and along the river on beautiful sunny days. The apartment is in a calm and quiet street, very close to spots where people stop by to grab a quick bite at lunchtime during their lunch break perhaps, we are very close to main offices, such as FAO headquarters for instance.
