What makes Palazzo K special? If you are looking to visit Liguria and its beautiful coastline with pretty villages and beautiful beaches as well as its internal nature this could be your base. The property is only 2km from the motorway exit of Altare and it takes around 15 min to hit the beach. Yet this farmhouse dating back to the 16th century with its original chapel fully restored offers guests 5 apartments for families and 2 B&B rooms. The rooms are furnished with antiques blended in to the origins. You can enjoy the large garden with 18m pool, sun loungers, outside eating area, a relaxing area near the woods for reading or a nice prosecco. The property also has a restaurant open at weekends offering stunning fish and meat dishes as well as a large wine list to choose a bottle to share. We take great pride in making sure our guests are looked after as we live on site and any special wishes are granted when possible! Our 2 B&B rooms are a place near to the sea yet away from the hustle of the summer tourism, where couples or guests can relax whilst enjoying the pool, the garden and nature. The house is situated 3km from the nearest small town of Altare. There is also Ferrania for the nearest supermarket with fresh bread daily including Sundays (2km). Altare holds the Glass Museum worth a visit not only for the glass blowing events during the summer but also for its Liberty style villa in which it is situated. Portofino and the Cinque Terre for some stunning sea villages and quint restaurants. Plenty of things to do cycling is the perfect sport, running or taking a breathtaking walk in the Nature Reserve of Adelaide. (2km entrance from the house). Visit Genova city, museums, aquarium or just walk through the old town for some culture and history. (40 min drive). Barolo wine region is only an hour and a half for one of the best red wines in Italy. Beautiful scenery too. and of course a visit to The Langhe for some wine tasting too. And of course the sea with its stunning small towns like Spotorno, Noli, Bergeggi and Varigotti. There is plenty to do just let us know what you are looking for!
