This is truly a fabulous apartment with high vaulted ceilings through out. The ceilings in some of the rooms have also original painted beams and one of the rooms has alfresco's on the walls !!! It has a very large living area with 2 large balconies over looking the Piazza . The master bedroom has a double bed and the room adjacent is used as a wardrobe room but we can put a single bed or cot in there if desired , it also has a large balcony. The second bedroom has a mezzanine , with a double bed on one level and a child's room with a single bed on the other. The child's room also has a Wendy house under the stairs . The kitchen is modern, with most things being stainless steel. Has all appliances one can need (dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, oven, kettle, fridge, iron and ironing board). The bathroom has a large free standing stone bath and a large walk in shower . The house has heating and air con throughout . It is full of light as it has 5 balconies all facing Piazza Marina where there is a famous park in the middle called Villa Garibaldi , it has some of the oldest trees in italy .

was born and raised in London but live in Palermo because I can offer a higher quality of life to my children . Also I love the sun and all the beautiful beaches here. I fell in love with this apartment because I could never own or live in such a historical apartment as this in London . It was built in the 1770's and has many wonderful features . Also I think Piazza Marina is the nicest area to live in. Has everything you could need on your doorstep . Sightseeing , restaurants , winebars , supermarket , parks , e.t.c

This beautiful light apartment used by the nobility of Palermo in its time, is on the first floor of the historical palazzo (Oliveri). The apartment is in Piazza Marina in the historical centre of Palermo where parking is easily found, not that a car is needed as there are many tourist attractions plus stylish restaurants and bars very close by. Please google the area using Piazza Marina as a reference and you can see for yourself how lovely the area is. As an English woman living in Palermo i would advise anyone to google the area when looking at renting in Palermo as the areas can change from good to bad quickly . There is also a fantastic antiques market at Piazza Marina until 1pm on sunday. In the vicinity there are many tourist attractions all in walking distance for example Teatro Massimo, the cathedral , Palazzo Steri, Palazzo Abatellis, Foro Italico, Mura delle Cattive, museums, etc., and for shopping Via Roma is a favourite which is only 10 minutes walk. The nearest beach is Mondello which is 20minutes by car and has beautiful white sand and crystal blue water and can also be reached by bus.
