The apartment is modernly furnished and has extensive facilities. The bedrooms are very spacious, and each room has a large double box-spring bed that can also be arranged as two single beds. Additionally, the largest bedroom has a third bed. Even the little ones are very welcome. A crib is available upon request. Our guests find the apartment comfortable, spacious, and very neat. The beautiful view of the valley is particularly appreciated. The terrace is very spacious and has a lounge sofa, a dining table, and chairs. The apartment is easily accessible and has no stairs. Both the apartment and the terrace are suitable for people with limited mobility. If you would like to have breakfast, we are happy to prepare an Italian breakfast buffet for you at an additional cost. Please let us know at least 3 days in advance.

We love the Italian life and want our guests to enjoy it too. Our passion is cooking, which is why we also have our own cooking studio. If the guests share the same passion, it is possible to 'cook together'. A special welcome for anyone who 'just wants to get away for a few days'. Motorcyclists are also very welcome. It is a very nice area to tour with the motor. In short, plenty to see and do.

Casa Valtaro is located in the Taro valley. Surrounded by greenery, in the middle of the hilly landscape you experience the real Italian life. Tranquility interspersed with cosiness that is what you can find in the region of Borgo val di Taro. This area is known for its delicacies such as Funghi, truffles, Parmesan cheese and many more delicacies. You can 'stroll' undisturbed through local markets and pituresque streets. Of course a stop for a tasty 'caffe' or aperitif is highly recommended There are plenty of bars where you can enjoy 'la Dolce Vita'! And if you are a fan of cycling and mountain biking, you can indulge yourself here. This area has various routes, and you can also enjoy riding with an electric mountain bike. You should be a reasonably experienced mountain biker, but if you stay on the road, less experience will suffice. We can also guide you if you wish, as we are cycling enthusiasts ourselves and know the fun trails ;) From May to October, there are always many activities in the area, such as markets and music events. It's very lively, and there is something to do or see in every surrounding village. Here, you can still find authentic Italian traditions, and it is a non-touristy area. The tourists who are mainly here are Italians who once emigrated and are now visiting their families. Of course, foreigners also know how to find the region, but it is precisely this mix that creates a very cozy and relaxed atmosphere, which blends perfectly.
