Maravigghia Palermo, from the Sicilian dialect literally means Wonder, was born in February 2020. Behind this reality there is the idea, the commitment and the perseverance of our founder Salvo. Our mission, in fact, is to offer guests an authentic experience by enhancing the link with the local territory. Our slogan is "Responsible Hospitality", as we love tourism and responsible hospitality. For this reason we support electric mobility and Sicilian agri-food production. We also take care of the urban context where we are located and support non-profit associations that are dedicated to safeguarding the decoration and the "Maravigalti" of Palermo. From January 2021 Maravigghia Palermo has seen a strong contribution and support from its co-founder Francesco. To date, four apartments are part of Maravigghia Palermo. "Briogna" in Sicilian means - Shame. The apartment owns the name because of it’s location: the ground floor in the historical street “via del Celso” right in the Capo district. For those who want to live Palermo at it’s full, staying at Briogna is an authentic local experience. Here you can have it all: enjoy the folklore, smell the traditional kitchen and spices, as well discover a typical features of the old city. Straight outside the window of the apartment you will enjoy, as we say “ o passio” - local people or travelers who choose to live in the area are buzzing around. It won’t be the right place in case you are seeking for a relax and silence. The apartment has been embellished by a mix of typical Sicilian furnishing details, those recovered from the antique markets of the city, also from the family collections. It’s strongest feature must be mentioned: a narrow access from a alley that has been decorated with flowers, lights and graphics with phrases dedicated to Palermo by important historical persons that felt in love with the city years ago. Inside of the apartment you'll find a photo series from 1970, inspired by Eros those represent the " closed houses" of the via Del Celso, that used to be a Red light district. The air-conditioned apartment is equipped with everything you need for a carefree stay: TV with Netflix and Prime, Amazon Alexa, capsule coffee machine, filter coffee machine, equipped kitchen, microwave, washing machine, drying rack, umbrellas, toiletries for the bathroom, Instant camera and game console. You will also have access to the travel app Travel Mate that, with convenient audio guides downloadable on your smartphone, you will discover the wonders of the city and a free voucher of about 30 minutes to use electric scooters sharing by Bit Mobility. Pets are also welcome.

Maravigghia Palermo is located a few meters from the main places of historical and cultural interest: the Cathedral, the Teatro Massimo, Quattro Canti, Piazza Pretoria etc. If you arrive by car you need to buy the ZTL pass (5euro per day excluding Sundays and holidays). For the unloading/loading of luggage, free access is allowed, upon communication to the structure of the number plate and the name. It is possible to park free of charge near the structure in public parking areas if available or to book a parking space in a private car park in agreement. The airport shuttle bus stop is a 5-minute walk from the apartments. Central Station is a 12-minute walk away. You will also find bars, restaurants, pastry shops... you will find everything.... just miss you!!
