The Honeymoon suite is located in the best and most select area of Venice. Movie Stars often stay next door. Although it is in the center of Venice it is slightly off the tourist track, the entrance is on a quiet cul-de-sac which leads to a large garden and a secure entrance with lovely wall frescos on the way to the suite, which has two large windows on the Grand Canal. Traffic on the Grand Canal is forbidden after midnight and since all the sound rises it is quiet in general. The pretty garden and the foyer/sofa areas are great for relaxing or for using internet. The foyer has 2 large glass doors onto the dock on the Grand Canal, where there is a table and seating area perfect for morning coffee and cocktail and with sights of the activities on the Grand Canal. The owners, who live upstairs (with a separate entrance), basically leave those areas for your use, they just need access to the dock for their boat when they are there. You are 5 minutes from San Marco and 10 from the Rialto. The Alilaguna -comes direct from the airport to Saint Angelo (17 euros) which is 2 minutes from our apartment and taxis (110 Euros) come direct to the dock outside the suite. J

Just to make our announcement perfectly clear. It is a bedroom and bathroom, There are no kitchen facilities as such, although there is a microwave and refrigerator and water boiler, coffee,tea,etc.. There is a great food shop (Paulo's) nearby with terrific hams and cheeses, fresh fruit and wine etc. and a charming family restaurant ( Bacareto ) one minute from the front gate, non-tourist, authentic Venetian food, open 8 am to 11 pm. San Stephano 2 minutes away, is the main cross road to all the areas of Venice, and is full of bars with great coffee and snacks and some of the best restaurants in Venice like the Becafico.
