I Muri is founded in 2007 and we have 6 accommodations in total. It is a family run boutique resort and we are doing our utmost best to help you enjoy your stay with us. We know the area and all the best places to go to and we have the right contacts to make you experience Italy at its best.

I Muri is a small and cosy boutique resort in Piedmont, Italy. The main building has 4 large apartments and there is a free standing chalet and a mobile home. The large park offers a wonderful swimming pool of 5 x 12 meters with a sundeck and a cover for shadow on hot summer days. There is a small honesty bar and we, the owners, are on the premises as well to answer you questions and give you tips about nice places to go, villages and cities to visit and restaurants to enjoy your meals. In high season (July and August) we host mainly families with kids. The last few years we have been organizing teenage weeks in which we welcome only families with kids from the age of 12 years old. We do offer a special programm then but not everyday as we don't want to be an entertainment park. In spring and autumn, lovely seasons to visit Piedmont, we host all sorts of guests: couples, families with small children and friends. It is possible to hire the whole park and get exclusive use of all the amenities. This is very suited for groups of friends, family reunions, sporting events and business incentives and trainings. Since 2024 I Muri is also a destination wedding location. We offer all inclusive weddings to couples that would like to get married in Italy. As we know all the local suppliers and are excellent in organizing (Irma has a degree in event and retreat organization) we take care of everything for a wonderful three day wedding.

I Muri is situated in The Langhe, an area in Piedmont. It is here where the Slow Food movement started (Bra) and the area is very well known for it's superb kitchen. The food in The Langhe is pure and very tasteful. Every October you will find the truffle event in Alba, the white truffle capital of the world. Bra has the famous 'cheese' event every other year in September. In every restaurants you have the greatest meals for very affordable prices. Besides food the area is also famous for it's wines: Barolo, Barbaresco and Nebbiolo, all made from the Nebbiolo grape. But don't forget to taste the Dolcetto, Barbera and from more recent years the Piedmontese version of Pinot Noir, the Pinot Nero. The landscape is mindblowing. The countryside between Alba and Dogliani is filled with vineyards that take your breath away. Combine that with the views you have from the hills over the Piedmont Plain all the up to the Alps and you will think you are in heaven. Very understandable that UNESCO made this part of Italy World Heritage. The Langhe however famous for it's food and wine is not too touristic. Therefor you can enjoy the authentic Italian atmosphere. Visit the many charming villages such as Murazzano, Dogliani and Bossolasco and the more famous places such as La Morra, Barolo, Treizo, Barbaresco and Monforte d'Alba. Don't forget the famous and lovely Alba and Mondovì. Also the city of Turin (1 hours drive) and Genova (1,5 hours) drive are reachable from I Muri and well worth a visit. Same as the Ligurian coast which is a treat and touches all your sences. Maybe visit Portofino, Cinque Terre or maybe even Monaco on the other side. You will more than enjoy your trip.
