The Red House Company is a family business started in order to maximize a property investment in Venice. My wife and I have understood the potential of quality self catering rentals along the way of the positioning of our first apartment: “The Red House”. We decided that this could be our future full time occupation in the December 2009 and we are now managing successfully a number of properties in the historic centre of Venice.

The Lion’s House is a newly restored house with 4 apartments which undertook a complete restoration in September 2010, in Salizada San Lio, Castello. The apartments have been furnished with design and modern taste by our company on behalf of the owners, and are the perfect place to spend your holiday in Venice-central, stylish and comfortable. The Lion’s House 1 has 2 bedrooms-1 large double and 1 twin bedroom, 2 bathrooms and a bright living and dining area with 32″ flat TV on the wall and a fully equipped kitchen. The bedrooms are spacios and very confortable. The double bedroom has a large wardrobe and chest of drawers, and soft lamps. The kitchen is provided with new blender, toaster, kettle, dish washer, washing machine, oven, microwave and a four ring stove. Plus wine glasses, ceramic plates etc and children’s plastic plates/cups. Art paintings by Italian artist Guglielmo Meltzeid, from Primo Piano Gallery in Venice (near Palazzo Grassi) enhance the living area. The larger bathroom has a cabin shower, sink and WC and the smaller has a WC and a sink. The apartments is equipped with quality linings, towels, hair drier, Air conditioning and floor heating.

This apartment is the perfect place for a great family holiday, or a romantic getaway in the historic center of Venice, in an extremely central and convenient location. Restaurants, shops, cafes all just outside your door- great wide choice and suppliers, for all tastes. Try the Venetian “osteria” with local ciceti-tapas for a glass of veneto wine, or the elegant patisseries for cappuccino and typical cakes. Maid service is available on request.
