The house is 3 km away from the center of the historical hill town of Volterra. Volterra is one of the oldest settlements in Europe and is reach of archaeological sites starting from Etruscan times. There is a beautiful Roman theater and the town was one of the most important in Tuscany during the medieval age. The house is a new building built in the traditional Tuscan style along one of the most important Etruscan roads. You will pass a lot of Etruscan ruins getting to the house. The house, all in stone, has 3 bedrooms (the main one with a walk in closet), 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, a big lounge, a balcony, patios, garden and terrace. The patios are furnished with tables, chairs, swing, hammock, deck chairs and a small barbecue. For the little ones, a nice wood cot is available in the master bedroom and a highchair outside on the patio. On the ground floor a big laundry area is available to guests. The house is built with top quality materials and is available for long term rentals. The most beautiful towns in Tuscany like Siena, Pisa, Florence, Lucca, San Gimignano, Livorno and many others are reachable from Volterra in about an hour. Tuscany has many golf courses too.
